«Sounce»

Despite the technological progress of society, today it is quite difficult for people with limited hearing and speech abilities to communicate with people around them.

According to the World Health Organization, there are almost 360 million people in the world with a similar problem. It is rather difficult for people to interact with each other, which is the result of creating a separate psychologically more closed society. To maintain a moral and ethical attitude in society towards people with disabilities, an application was created that will allow the new generation to grow and easily find a common language with others.

The idea of creating such an application appeared during the implementation of the AI Hackathon project and is now being implemented with the support of TechTalents, which annually prepares many teams of inventors. So, “Sounce” is a program that gives people with hearing and speech problems the opportunity to communicate with society without any restrictions.

How it works: you shoot video from gestures, and in real time you are provided with translations from the language of deaf and dumb people. You can also enter individual words, the text you want to say, and “Sounce” will recreate the result in the form of a photo or video sequence that would describe the necessary information. It is planned to expand the range of languages provided, both sign and verbal).

The program was created to help people with limited hearing and speech abilities, especially for children who still do not read and write well, and can also be extremely useful for the staff of various service providers. The application will allow you to establish contact in a progressive society and enhance the prestige of some service companies cooperating with us.
