Workshops NURE Data Science

Every Thursday in the room 608 take place workshops NURE Data Science.

The head of this program is Kirill Smelyakov, professor of department of computing machinery.

Main goals of these workshops are: discussion of relevant tendency of developing Data Science methodology and studying, finding effective solutions and implementation of forward-looking projects in the area of Data Science.

Nowadays basic directions R&D – Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence in addition to assignments of Computer vision, Diagnostics, Fog Computing.

Basic applied areas are:
-Medicine
-Pattern recognition
-Search engines like Search by Image
-Astronomy
-Geographic information system
-Revealing of information anomalies

Basic projects which the team of NURE Data Science are cooperating with:
-Improvement of image quality
-Revealing/ Recognition/ Vectorization of objects on the image
-Elaboration of medical diagnostic systems
-Estimation of energetic waste
-Finding anomalies
-Creation of CRM systems

In order to develop the  IT scientific sector and increase effectiveness of implementing respective projects, the team of NURE Data science has started cooperating with the science park “Synergy” at the KNURE. The team offers a list of promising programs of cooperation with other IT companies in Ukraine.
